IAN funded, Wizikey, a PR-Tech software, launched media intelligence metric — Earned Media Authority (EMA) and a news analytics dashboard, ‘Wizdom’.
With a data-driven approach, the real-time news analytics dashboard compares news from more than 200 news portals based on keywords.
With this, the company forays into the intelligence software market, which is estimated at $3.5 billion in annual spend, and has grown at a 7% compound annual growth rate since 2013. As the needs of PR and marketing professionals converge, the PR and communications software market is beginning to converge with the marketing software market, which was estimated at $32 billion in 2018.

Wizdom enables a company to create a brand landscape. The software asks the user for brand keywords/competitor keywords and leadership names, churns a report on the created landscape in less than 30 seconds. In its beta version, EMA is a percentage of the landscape created by the user and measures only the online mentions of the brand and competition.
A survey by the firm, in association with OneSource, revealed that over 50% professionals find Excel sheets unproductive for maintaining data and coverage. Wizikey also allows users to host collaterals up to 10GB for easy access on its ‘Brand Box’.
