Bajaj Allianz Life has appointed Santanu Banerjee as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of the Company.
Santanu Banerjee will lead the HR function and will be responsible for the strategic direction of people management, including talent acquisition, training and development, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and succession planning.
Santanu comes with over two decades of versatile experience in human resources and has a wealth of experience across the insurance sector. He brings to the table leadership in culture and organizational transformation through systems, processes, and people interventions.

Before joining Bajaj Allianz Life, Santanu worked with Star Union Dai-Ichi Life Insurance as Executive VP and CHRO. Prior to that, he has also worked with ING Vysya Life Insurance, Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, Aditya Birla Health Insurance, and HATHWAY Cable & Dotcom.
Santanu holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from the Army Institute of Management, Kolkata.
