Launched ahead of Father’s Day 2020, Lotte ChocoPie campaign concentrates on the joy and affection felt by a dad on being surprised by his child.
Lotte ChocoPie has recently released a TVC-led campaign to highlight the nuances of the father-child relationship. The storyline chosen for the TVC revolves around a father’s interaction with his grown-up son. When approached for a conversation by his son, the father assumes that he wants something. It is later revealed that the son is, in fact, trying to surprise him with a gift on Father’s Day. The Lotte ChocoPie campaign has been released under #PauseToSurprise.
Commenting on the launch, Venkatesh Parthasarathy, VP Marketing, LOTTE India said, “Father’s Day is an occasion to appreciate our Dads for all the care, guidance, and even the tough love which made us the persons we are today. Through this campaign, we would like to create moments where people can surprise their wonderful, inspiring fathers and also an opportunity to cherish those endearing moments spent together.”
The brand plans to extend the campaign on digital platforms and has also roped in ten influencers for visibility, engagement and resonance.
