11% rise in Ad Volumes during Jul- Aug’20 compared to Jul- Aug’19: TAM

Over 20 New Categories and 1800+ New Advertisers could be seen on Television in July-August 2020 over July-August 2019, states TAM report.

According to a TAM report detailing ad spends on television during July-August 2020 (Till August 29), there was an 11% rise in Ad Volumes during the period in 2020 as compared to the same time period in 2019. More than 10% growth was witnessed in Ad Volumes of July 2020 and August 2020 compared to July 2019 and August 2019 respectively.

While the share of News and Movies genres grew in July-August 2020 compared to July-August 2019, GEC, Music & Kids saw a decline in Ad Volumes’ share. Ecom-Payment Banks and Piccadily Agro were top new Category and Advertiser respectively that became prominent in July-August 2020 but weren’t present in 2019 in the same period.
