Most preferred Program Genre for advertising of Cars Category during April-September 2020 was News Bulletin with 40% of Ad Volumes share.
TAM AdEx’s Cross Media Report on Cars Category gives an overview of Ad Volumes on TV, Print, Radio and Digital for April-September 2020. It lists top advertisers for the time period, Top TV Channel Genres and Program Genres that are preferred by Cars Category and more.
Advertising on TV, Radio and Print medium was recorded to have grown by 159 times, 233 times and 16 times in September 2020 respectively. Kia Motors, Tata Motors, Hyundai Motor, MG Motor, Maruti Suzuki and Mahindra & Mahindra were found to be common advertisers across all mediums.
Dwelling into the Time band analysis for the category, the report finds that Prime Time (44%) was the most preferred time-band on TV followed by Afternoon (16%).
In Print, 61% of Cars Category ads were recorded for Hindi and English Publications during April-September 2020. On Radio, More than 45% of Ad Volumes were contributed by Top 3 states — Maharashtra, Gujarat & Andhra Pradesh — during the same period.
