Mattel India rolls out special Thank You Heroes UNO deck to honour frontline workers

A part of the sales proceeds of the ‘Thank You Heroes UNO’ deck will be donated to partner NGOs as identified by GiveIndia.

Mattel Toys announced the launch of a limited-edition deck of UNO called Thank You Heroes, as a tribute to frontline workers who continue to keep the country up and running in its battle against COVID-19. As a part of this initiative, Mattel Toys has partnered with GiveIndia, where a part of the sales proceeds will be donated to partner NGO’s. The fund will be dedicated to providing essential supplies, equipment, and resources to frontline workers.

This unique edition of UNO includes 112 cards and features all Mattel brands and characters as frontline and everyday heroes including He-Man as a grocery delivery worker and Barbie as a medical professional.

Lokesh Kataria, Head of Marketing for Mattel Toys India Pvt Ltd. said, “We have extended the #ThankYouHereos initiative to India with the launch of Thank You Heroes UNO to honour and celebrate frontline workers who have played a critical role in serving our country, in a time of need. Through the launch of this special UNO deck, we wish to immortalise their selfless contribution. Part of the sales proceeds will be donated to NGOs identified by our partner GiveIndia. We hope this initiative gives consumers a unique way to say thank you.”
