According to Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) data, new Demat account additions rose to an all-time high of 10.7 million between April 2020 and January 2021. Not only has there been a surge in the first time users, data trends have also shown that in the post pandemic world, younger or millennial investors in India have started opening demat accounts to start trading, in sync with the global trend. This surge indicates the growing need for financial education, especially since there are very few ways one can learn trading and investing.

LearnApp.com was founded in 2018 by Prateek Singh, Swati Sharma, Ankush Oberoi, and Sohail Alam. Prateek is a seasoned trader himself, and a serial entrepreneur. The platform aims at adding new-age skills in trading and investment by the way of recorded video sessions by industry leaders and regular live sessions by industry veterans.
