TAM AdEx cross-media report highlights how the advertising fared in the Ecom-Food/Grocery category on TV, Print, Radio, and Digital for the months of Jan-May 2021 as compared to the same period in the previous year.

According to the latest TAM AdEx cross-media report, Ecom-Food/Grocery category ad volumes grew by 45% in TV, 76% on Radio, and 50% on Digital, 2.5 times for Print and Digital, respectively, in Jan-May 2021 over the same period in the previous year.

For Television, the top 10 advertisers garnered almost 100% share of ad volumes with Flipkart topping the list. A total of 10+ new brands registered in the category during Jan-May’21 over Jan-May’20.

In Print, ad space of the Ecom-Food/Grocery category grew sharply by 2.5 times during Jan May’21 over Jan-May’20. The top 10 advertisers and brands added 93% and 92% ad shares, respectively, as per the list.

On Radio, Reliance Retail topped with 28% of the ad volumes’ share among the advertisers whereas Jiomart.Com occupied the top spot in the brand list with a 28% share of ad volumes followed by Zomato.com with a 13% share.

For Digital, Meat And Spice and Grofers India were the top 2 advertisers which together added 41% share of ad insertions. Meatigo.Com was the top brand with a 28% share of ad insertions during Jan-May 2021.
