Prior to this, Ankur Ogra was working with Blinkit (Grofers) for more than six years.
Ankur Ogra has joined Tata Sky Binge OTT as Head of Growth. Before this, Ogra was working with Blinkit (Grofers) as Senior Director Marketing and helped the brand in driving business, acquisition, and brand strategy.
Prior to this, he was the Director of Media Strategy at Mindshare. Ogra has also driven business growth through brand and media strategy for companies like Pepsico, Hero Motocorp, Canon across India’s top marketing communication groups. He commenced his career with Ogilvy & Mather as Account Executive back in 2007.
Speaking with Media Samosa on his appointment, Ankur Ogra shared, “Tata sky has walked the talk when it comes to disrupting the broadcasting space, and with Binge, the attempt is to do the same with the OTT as well. The Tata Sky Binge Mobile offering is an incredible one subscription, one price offering that would disrupt the mobile OTT space and create the much-needed convenience and value that consumers so desire. In the past, Ogra completed his Bachelors in Economic Honours from Delhi University in 2005 followed by PG Diploma in Advertising and PR from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication in 2006. He completed his MBA from University of Leeds in 2014.
