Bengal is known for its love for sweet curd and now Metro Dairy the quintessential Bengali brand, making its foray into the set-curd space decided to entice the sweet-tooth of the citizens with Metro Aam Doi and Metro Mishti Doi. Simultaneously making the much loved regular plain Metro Dahi (pouch) consumable while on the move, introduced the set-curd version of Metro Dahi.
Keeping it up with the eating habit from a clay pot, the ‘easy-to-consume-while-on-the-go’ packaging has been made available in single and family size cups. While the single size cups weigh 85gm, the family size cups come with 400gm of curd.

Commenting on the launch of Metro Set-Curds, Sanjay Dua, Chief Executive, Marketing & Sales – Dairy, Metro Dairy said “Metro is the legacy brand in Bengal and Mishti Doi is one of the inseparable aspects of the state. With Bangaliana running in our veins, we understand how important Curd is in our daily diet. Hence, we wanted to bring curd in packaging which is easy to consume while on the move. Thus the idea of set-curd came into being. We are confident that our variants of sweet curd and regular curd will strike the right chord with the citizens and will find its place in their daily dose of nutrition.”
The variants of Curd from Metro Dairy has been priced at a price range of Rs 10 to Rs 65.
