Impact of COVID-19 has led several brands to come with innovative products that meet the needs that the situation has posed. It is in tune with the changing needs of consumers and their evergrowing focus on safety as a parameter to select products for consumption. Immunity-boosting products are another set of products garnering attention.
Big FMCG players like Dabur and Nivea have expanded their product portfolio to include hand sanitizers. Wildcraft and adidas among other brands have come up with face masks. Smaller businesses are also pitching in and putting efforts to stay relevant by packaging and launching products in sync to reflect their social listening capacities.
Dairy Day PLUS
Dairy Day has launched two variants under its PLUS range: Chyawanprash and Haldi. Developed and produced at the brand’s Karnataka facility, the product’s USP, as per the brand, lies in immunity-boosting ingredients such as amla, turmeric and pepper.
ATS ELGi
Extending the brand’s offerings of automotive service equipment, ATS ELGi recently launched a product that cleanses the air inside a vehicle, removing bacteria, viruses as well as unwanted odours. The air sterilizer uses ozone to eliminate organic pollutants.
Dabur Tulsi Drops
Leveraging the medicinal properties of Tulsi, Dabur launched Tulsi Drops that they hope would help consumers find relief from cough/cold and strengthen their respiratory and immune system. The drops have to be consumed with a glass of milk/water/tea.

Godrej Security Solutions Vigi-Guard Turnstile with Sanitizer Dispenser has a touch-free mechanism. According to the brand, it ensures minimum human interference, helping consumers stay in line with social distancing rules.

Made from food-grade ingredients, SaaFoo offerings help remove germs, chemicals, and pesticides from vegetables, fruits and meats before consumption. They have been launched in bottle and sachet options.
