Tarak Bhattacharya had joined the Singapore-based gourmet brand Mad Over Donuts in 2011 as COO, where he steered it from 6 stores in 2011 to over 60 outlets today, across 4 cities. Under his leadership, Mad Over Donuts also added more to its menu, including exclusive lines of waffles and éclairs. All of them have been immensely popular, adding both to the top line and bottom line.
Tarak is one of the most respected professionals in the F&B sector, having led one of India’s most successful coffee chains to international fame and handling a Nando’s operations in the Indian Subcontinent.
In his new role, Bhattacharya will now also handle other aspects of the business. Tarak Bhattacharya said on his new appointment, “I am overwhelmed with the faith and confidence that has been shown in me. Himesh Foods is my home and Mad Over Donuts is my most treasured brand, having had the opportunity to nurture it from the early stages.
