Sodexo India appoints Rohit Bahety as Country President

Sodexo has announced the appointment of Rohit Bahety, Sodexo India’s current Chief Financial Officer (CFO), as the Country President and CFO for Sodexo India. Karan Totlani, a senior leader from the Corporate Services segment is elevated to take the Country Segment Director role for Corporate Services, India.

Both appointments are effective January 2020 and follow the resignation of Rishi Gour (Country President & Segment Director – Corporate Services India), who has left the organization to pursue a career outside of Sodexo.

Rohit joined Sodexo in 2006 and has taken on various finance positions in India and the UK. He leads the finance function in India, driving growth and profitability in a fast-paced, high-growth market, and has been a member of the India Country Leadership Committee since 2015. In his role as Country President and CFO, Rohit will be responsible for driving corporate governance and strategic directorial responsibility for all of Sodexo’s operations across India with its team of over 46,000 employees, spread across 1200+ sites locations.

Sodexo is also pleased to announce the appointment of Karan Totlani as the Country Segment Director for Corporate Services, India. Karan started his career with Sodexo in 2013 and played a pivotal role in the successful integration of the MacLellan business. Prior to this role, Karan was the Segment Director for Integrated Facilities Management for Corporate Services in India.

In the new role, Karan will be responsible for all the focus groups within the Corporate Services segment in India for both – food and facilities management business. A P&L role with responsibilities to drive growth, profitability, innovation and client-centricity, Karan will be responsible for driving organic and inorganic growth of the Corporate Services business in India.
