Zeno Group has appointed Alison DaSilva as Managing Director, Purpose and Impact. An industry veteran, DaSilva has spent more than two decades counseling clients across the full spectrum of Purpose and corporate social responsibility including strategic planning and goal setting; social impact; sustainability; employee and stakeholder engagement; public/private partnership; and reporting.

DaSilva spent more than twenty years at Cone Communications and, for the last three, has served as co-creator of Porter Novelli’s Global Purpose Practice. DaSilva’s client experience spans myriad sectors and industries, including hotels and hospitality, specialty and mass retail, consumer packaged goods, healthcare, and transportation, as well as national non-profit organizations.

DaSilva’s remit at Zeno Group is agency-wide, working across practices and geographies. She joins Zeno’s Global Leadership Team and will report to Mark Shadle, Managing Director, Global Corporate Affairs.

“With all companies now acknowledging purpose as a clear business imperative, Alison’s expertise and insight will be highly valued,” said Shadle. “Alison will take our current initiatives and client programs to an exciting new level of impact and relevance.”

Notably, DaSilva has been published in Harvard Business Review and Stanford Social Innovation Review. She is also a sought-after speaker at events such as Sustainable Brands, 3BL Forum, Points of Light and Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose (CECP).

“Purpose has taken over the C-suite, and with that comes the continued opportunity to help create and guide the journey for our clients toward being an enduring force for societal good,” said DaSilva. “I have spent the last 25+ years working in the Purpose, Corporate Responsibility, and Social Impact space, and yet I believe the best is yet to come in terms of what we as communicators can accomplish.”
