Childfund India appoints Avian WE to spearhead advocacy communications

by admin

Avian WE today announced a new partnership with ChildFund India, an organization that has been working in India since 1951, providing interventions that cater to the changing needs of children and youth. The appointment names Avian WE as its communications agency of record, following a competitive search.

A large part of the remit will be a holistic communications plan focusing on education, health, livelihood, humanitarian relief, and child protection issues, and the cultivation of corporate partnerships that help advance the organization’s child advocacy work. The agency will also manage ChildFund’s press office to increase its visibility across 15 states in India.

“Avian WE’s extensive experience in addressing social issues and its understanding of the nuances of media engagement within the social sector complements our goals perfectly,” said Neelam Makhijani, Country Director and CEO, ChildFund India. “Our partnership will strengthen our outreach to families across India, furthering our ability to help children lead a dignified life and achieve their full potential.”

“We are thrilled to partner with ChildFund India, an NGO positively impacting millions of children in India every year,” said Ghosh. “We look forward to playing a part in expanding its influence as a leading child development organization.”
